With the warmer weather setting in and with the sea of bank holidays behind us the members of Ceramic Brass Band are· focussing all its efforts in to rehearsals for· our concerts during the summer season.
This year sees us undertaking a wide range of engagements across stoke and Staffordshire including our annual performances at Endon Well Dressing, Leek Club Day, The Groves in Chester and Buxton Pavilion Gardens. The band will· also be playing new engagements at Bethesda Chapel in Hanley (Stoke on Trent) and Emma Bridgewater Pottery. Of course we will also be performing our annual summer concert at the Longton Central Hall Methodist Church on the 2nd July.
So as you can see the band will be as busy and active as ever and hopefully the weather will continue to be kind to us.

And so 2011 begins, and what an exciting year it’s shaping up to be already. After perhaps our most successful festive period since formation we can now look forward to the coming year and the new experiences that it will hold.
The next few months will hold a number of ‘firsts’ for the band: Starting with a charity concert raising funds for a local branch of the Animal Life Line Charity on Saturday 5th March at Weston Coyney Village Hall (Near Longton Stoke on Trent)
The band will then play its first area contest since the return of Stewart Thompson as musical director on Sunday 13th March at the Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College, Bedworth
And this will be quickly followed by the recording of our first CD which the band will rehearse music for during January and February.
So as you can see 2011 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for Ceramic Brass Band, we look forward to seeing you soon.

Welcome to the new and improved Ceramic Brass Band Website.
Over the past 3 months the band has been working hard under the musical direction of Stewart Thompson and have played one of their most prestigious concerts to date at Stoke Kings Hall with the Championship section Staffordshire Band.
